Time and again, risk managers and underwriters experience a very real pain – the pain of using dozens to hundreds of different data sources (Excel spreadsheets, Access databases and paper) to perform policy administration, underwriting, and exposure tracking. And the pain continues when they try to get any type of consolidated view of the entire book of business for reporting and analysis.
Is there a better way? Can you consolidate multiple platforms and eliminate disparate data sources? Can you simplify your workflow? Can you operate on one consistent platform? The answer is Yes.

Cayman Auto Insurer Will Use SIMS Claims

TM to Increase Speed and Efficiency, and Enhance Customer Experience in the Claims Process

LARKSPUR, CA--(Marketwire - Sep 12, 2011) - Systema Software, a leading provider of claims software and services to the insurance industry, today announced that Saxon Motor & General Insurance Company Ltd. (SaxonMG), an auto insurance provider in the Cayman Islands, has selected SIMS Claims as its new claims management system.

SaxonMG chose SIMS Claims for its modern browser-based claims system architecture and scalability. Brian Williams, CEO of Saxon, added: "We wanted a flexible system that could grow with our organization and could easily be configured to meet our business needs. With SIMS, we'll be able to manage claims with more speed and efficiency, and leverage a wide range of reports to track our claims-handling performance."

SIMS Claims is a comprehensive property and casualty claims system, designed to maximize productivity and profitability in day-to-day operations. This system leverages .NET technology, Web Services, XML-based business rules, and SQL Server relational databases.

Jose Tribuzio, president of Systema Software, commented on the new partnership: "By working with SaxonMG, we take SIMS Claims into an international market and extend our client base in personal lines auto insurance. By using SIMS, SaxonMG will be able to streamline its operations through business rules that automate task assignment and supervisor alerts; leverage document management to increase paperless processing; and implement an interface with its policy administration system to enable information flow among agents, underwriters, and the claims department."

In regards to Systema's commitment to value engineering, Williams noted: "We had a long 'wish list' of capabilities. Whereas other vendors might have taken that list and recommended an expensive custom solution, Systema performed a significant amount of cost-benefit analysis, and in the end, provided an overall cost-effective solution proposal that leverages many out-of-the-box features. Into the future, we believe SIMS will help us to better manage our claims and overall book of business, and give us a competitive advantage by creating an enhanced customer experience in the claims process."
